The bits of the eXTREME series are designed for universal use for various rock formations. The bits are made from specially hardened materials to ensure durability and maximum reliability when drilling long hole sections in vertical or directional wells.
• Cutting Structure: Steel teeth or tungsten carbide inserts. Hardfacing is applied along steel teeth including those in the heel row to provide maximum wear resistance and increased ROP.
• Bearing: Sealed roller or sealed journal bearing. The bearing is filled with grease to reduce friction coefficient in the bearing, its overheat and wear
• Circulation System: Open central port or side jets.
• Leg shirttail protection: Hardfacing on leg shirttail along the leading edge and TCI on 2/3 of the leg shirttail.
• Lubrication System: The bit lubrication system is designed for grease and pressure compensation.
