The desander cleaner is the second phase of solid control in drilling operation. Normally, there are a set of hydrocyclones in 8”, 10” or 12” in the desander, which are used for separating the solid particles from the drilling fluids. The desander cleaner is made up of shale shaker, hydrocyclones, distribution manifold, and electric control cabinet. When engaged the desander removes the abrasive, coarse solids from the drilling fluids which cannot be removed by shale shaker.
